Hair transplant training
Medical center Talizi possesses a big experience in educating postgraduate doctors. Training programs in our clinic are based on contemporary technologies.
Talizi organizes additional professional education: retraining (specialization) and increasing qualification degree (basic principles in hair transplantation, theoretical course and practice period at working place) in hair transplantation.
Hair transplant surgeons from different countries are systematically passing training courses in our center.
Medical center Talizi proposes two basic training packets:
- Training program for physicians; retraining program and increasement of qualification degree.
- Training program for surgeon assistants.
Training program for physicians
- Basic principles of hair transplantation (theoretical course).
- Harvesting donor material by extracting follicular units (FUE).
- Harvesting donor material by strip surgery (FUSS).
- Different methods of harvesting elliptical donor strip with single blade knife.
- Trichophytic closure of donor wound.
- Different methods of donor wound closure.
- Different methods of creating recipient sites (Sagital and Coronal slits, using micro blades or needles for creation recipient sites and etc.). Distribution recipient sites and direction of its creation.
- Control of the grafts preparation process and its implantation.
Training program for surgical assistants
- Cutting (preparing) grafts from donor strip using magnifying loops with 3x magnifications.
- Cutting (preparing) grafts from donor strip under the 20x magnification special Meiji stereomicroscopes.
- Slivering - cutting 1,5-2 mm wide slivers with 1-2 rows of follicular units from donor strip.
- Following preparation of follicular units from slivers.
- Placement of grafts into the created recipient sites.
- Surgical assistance during follicular units extraction.
