FUE hair transplant

The process of hair transplant surgery using FUE method is demonstrated below.

Cutting out separate grafts from the back of patient's head

Hairs for transplant are extracted from the donor zone on the back of patient's head in the form of individual grafts.

You can also watch video of cutting out separate grafts from the back of patient's head using FUE method.

Following the application of local anaesthesia, the surgeon carefully cuts hair from the donor zone (which is much larger in the FUE method).

For several hours (the transplant of 2000 grafts with the FUE method may take up to 8 hours) the surgeon and the assistant extract grafts from the donor zone and put them with a sterile solution into special containers which are then stored in a refrigerator.

The other stages of the surgery (pore opening and graft implantation) are identical to the other stages of a hair transplant using the strip method.

Cutting out separate grafts from patient's chest

Hairs for transplant are extracted from patient's chest in the form of individual grafts.
